The Maine Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) informs policy development and improvement of practice in Maine’s criminal and juvenile justice systems.

Our Approach

Through collaborations with community-based and governmental organizations, the Maine Statistical Analysis Center team conducts applied research, evaluates programs and initiatives, and provides technical assistance and organizational development services. Through these partnerships, the Maine SAC supports partners to increase their data capacity and ability to use data to inform decision-making.

Our reports contain data and analyses intended to be used to inform policy and practice decisions and improve performance.

The Maine Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) is part of a nationwide network of SACs that are represented by the Justice Information Resource Network (JIRN).
